The Great Backwater Canoe
The main highlight and favorite activity of the tourists visiting Munroe Island is with no doubt the “Canoe ride”.The canoe(Kerala’s traditional wooden canoe) would glide through the lake, river and narrow and beautiful palm tree-lined canals. You can see the actual backwater village life, the flora, and fauna, pisciculture farms and also enjoy the sunrise and sunset depending upon the time of the tour. You can also try to row the boat along with the oarsman. On request, I will be there to guide and interact with you throughout the trip.
