Kollam, the closest major city, is located just 25 km away from Munroe Island. If you’re arriving from outside Kerala, you have multiple transportation options to reach Munroe Island. Although the trains to Munroturuttu railway station are limited, you’ll find passenger trains from major cities like Trivandrum, Varkala, Kollam, Kochi(Ernakulam), Kottayam and Alleppey. MQO is the station code.
The nearest airport to Munroe Island is Trivandrum, situated approximately 83 km away and accessible within a 2-hour drive by road. Alternatively, Cochin airport is about 170 km away and takes around 3 hours and 30 minutes to reach by road.
